Luxcurly Classic Curling Wand Review & Photos*

Hey guys,

Sorry I’ve been a bit MIA on my blog lately! I have just been out of the blogging groove, and haven’t had much motivation to post. So if you enjoy what you read, please make sure you like and comment on my posts so I know you like them! I’d also love to know any posts you’d like to see, so let me know guys ❤

Today’s post is a review of the Luxcurly Lux Classic conical barrel curler. This curling wand is completely different to all curlers I’ve tried in the past, because it rotates at the click of a button! Handy, no?

As you can see from the photos above, the Luxcurly Lux Classic features a left and right button, which when pressed rotate the wand in the direction pressed. To use, simply section off a section of hair, as big or small as you like, I personally do sections a couple of centimeters wide, and clamp the end of the strand under the clip. Then press and hold either the left or right button, and the curler will rotate and curl your hair for you! It’s pretty simple!

Now for a little run down of some of the features:

  • Tourmaline ceramic barrel for fast, even and steady heat
  • Lcd and temperature control button, you can tailor the heat to your hair type, up to 220 degrees celsius.
  • Safety stand and cool tip. I actually surprisingly love the little stand, so the curler doesn’t roll around while it’s hot!

I honestly think that having a self-rotating curler is really inventive, and much needed! It makes creating effortless curls so freakin’ easy. But that being said, there is a bit of a learning curve.

I expected to have killer curls with the first use, but unclipping your hair after you’ve curled it does take a bit of practice, as you have to rotate the wand the opposite way than when you curled it up, and then unclip it. But after a few sections you do get the hang of it 🙂

Here’s a picture of my hair after using my Luxcurly.

The Luxcurly Classic curling wand is available online here, and retails for $119.00 AUD with free shipping within Australia.

What do you guys think of this curler? Have you ever tried an auto-rotating curler?

Great post lovely! I own a curling wand, its so simple to use, but you have to use a heatproof glove or you can burn yourself so easily trying to hold your hair in place!! But the self turning thing.. that is like the lazy girls dream right there!! Can’t wait to see you next weekend!! xx
