Long time no talk! I’ve unfortunately been super busy recently and haven’t really had a chance to blog! Tsk tsk I know… My brother got married on the 28th of August & of course the day was amazing. So I was super busy surrounding that & now of course I’ve gotten sick just as spring hits! What have you guys been up to? Let me know in the comments!
Now onto today’s post, a deep chocolate brown smokey eye. This eye look looks so sultry, but it’s pretty easy to achieve really. To find out how to do it keep reading!
L to R: Too Faced Semi-sweet Chocolate Bar palette, Benefit High Beam, Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in Soft Brown, MAC Nourishing Waterproof foundation, Bobbi Brown corrector in Light Bisque, MAC lipstick in Snob, Tarte Lights, camera, lashes, Rimmel Scandaleyes in Nude, IT Cosmetics Bye bye under eye, NARS Pro prime eye primer, Benefit Gimme Brow in Light/medium, NARS Deep throat blush, The Balm Mary Lou-manizer. I also used Hourglass Mineral Veil primer, Ben Nye Cameo luxury powder, MAC Painterly paint pot, Make Up Forever Full Cover concealer, Elizabeth Arden 8 Hr lip protectant, Benefit Stay Don’t Stray in light/medium, Too Faced Milk chocolate soleil bronzer, Bare Minerals Well rested, Skindinavia Oil Control setting spray (not pictured).
For this look I first applied my eye primer & paint pot and went over the entire lid up to the brow with a matte cream shade. I then buffed Nougat and Mousse into the crease & outer corners. I then applied Frosting to the lid and blended the edges before deepening the outer corners with Puddin’ and Cocoa Chili. For the lower lashline I buffed through Nougat & Mousse, before adding some Frosting to the inner half & Puddin’ and Cocoa Chili to the outer half. I then applied Coconut Creme to the browbone and Butter Pecan to the inner corners. I finished with some mascara and nude eyeliner on my waterline.
The result is smokey sultry eyes that won’t make your eyes appear closed off or smaller! ❤
