Makeup Look: Loco For Cocoa with Too Faced Semi-Sweet

Hey beauties!

Long time no talk! I’ve unfortunately been super busy recently and haven’t really had a chance to blog! Tsk tsk I know… My brother got married on the 28th of August & of course the day was amazing. So I was super busy surrounding that & now of course I’ve gotten sick just as spring hits! What have you guys been up to? Let me know in the comments!

Now onto today’s post, a deep chocolate brown smokey eye. This eye look looks so sultry, but it’s pretty easy to achieve really. To find out how to do it keep reading!

Products used:

L to R: Too Faced Semi-sweet Chocolate Bar palette, Benefit High Beam, Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in Soft Brown, MAC Nourishing Waterproof foundation, Bobbi Brown corrector in Light Bisque, MAC lipstick in Snob, Tarte Lights, camera, lashes, Rimmel Scandaleyes in Nude, IT Cosmetics Bye bye under eye, NARS Pro prime eye primer, Benefit Gimme Brow in Light/medium, NARS Deep throat blush, The Balm Mary Lou-manizer.  I also used Hourglass Mineral Veil primer, Ben Nye Cameo luxury powder, MAC Painterly paint pot, Make Up Forever Full Cover concealer, Elizabeth Arden 8 Hr lip protectant, Benefit Stay Don’t Stray in light/medium, Too Faced Milk chocolate soleil bronzer, Bare Minerals Well rested, Skindinavia Oil Control setting spray (not pictured).

For this look I first applied my eye primer & paint pot and went over the entire lid up to the brow with a matte cream shade. I then buffed Nougat and Mousse into the crease & outer corners. I then applied Frosting to the lid and blended the edges before deepening the outer corners with Puddin’ and Cocoa Chili. For the lower lashline I buffed through Nougat & Mousse, before adding some Frosting to the inner half & Puddin’ and Cocoa Chili to the outer half. I then applied Coconut Creme to the browbone and Butter Pecan to the inner corners. I finished with some mascara and nude eyeliner on my waterline.

The result is smokey sultry eyes that won’t make your eyes appear closed off or smaller! ❤

i love this look 🙂 – would you recommend the lipstick and the bronzer? I have been eyeing off the bronzer for so long but I have such a hard time finding a bronzer that suits my pale skin.

Also, what formulae is the lipstick? Matte? I love the Colour, reminds me of east end snob by Rimmel 🙂

East end snob is my favourite lip liner! ♡ it’s such a gorgeous colour. I think it’s a cream sheen lipstick off the top of my head, definitely not matte. I love the lipstick & bronzer! However I am currently searching for a more cool toned bronzer, but this one is still a lot better for us pale girls than Hoola & Laguna!

Thank you! Yeah it looks a lot more wearable when you actually put it on your lips 🙂 definitely give it a try! Creme cup will always be my favourite though. 💄

Pretty eye look! Question for you – what do you think of the Bye Bye Undereye? I’ve heard mixed reviews. I like that it seems to offer full coverage, but from what I’ve seen, it’s thick and difficult to work with and blend right. I need something to cover up my dark circles!

    • kflowermaquillage says:

I don’t have any problem with it! It’s a thicker formula, so a little goes a long way & just warm it up with your fingers when applying 🙂

Gorgeous look and the way you applied all your makeup is perfection! You’re reminding me to take out and use my Ben Nye Cameo powder and to pick up a MAC painterly pot.
