People for Plants: Full Skincare Routine, Review & Photos*

Hey loves!

I’m back! Sticking to my posting schedule 😀 Are you proud? I feel like we should interact more guys, so please tell me what you’ve been up to lately or link me to your favourite recent post in the comments! Let’s catch up!

Todays post is a review of a few People For Plants goodies! Including their Face scrub, Hydration Gel, Night Cream and Rosehip, Calendula, Chamomile Face Oil. Read on if you want to know more about these great Aussie products!

Cucumber, Aloe Hydration Gel

People For Plants says:

This oil free gel is rapidly absorbed providing immediate hydration, leaving your skin feeling soft and energised. The cucumber acts as an astringent, tightening and refreshing, while aloe vera boasts the two ‘A’s: antioxidants and amino acids. Use as a light moisturiser or when your skin needs extra nutrition such as after sun or wind exposure use as a hydration mask.

I say:

This is a super lightweight gel, that absorbs into the skin super quick! It provides lasting hydration but without added oil so its perfect for those of us with skin more on the oily side. The texture is more on the serum side, and is very thin in consistency, so a little goes a long way! This baby is perfect to use before foundation!

Price: $29.95 for 50ml.

Pomegranate, Burdock, Shea Night Cream

People For Plants says:

Perfect for all skin types, this vitamin and anti-oxidant rich night cream helps enhance the skin’s natural restorative processes while you are at rest. It’s rich in pomegranate, with potent levels of vitamin C, anti-oxidants, collagen and elastin enhancing elements. Burdock helps detoxify the skin; hyaluaronic acid works to lock in moisture both internally and externally, while aloe vera provides hydration, shea and cold pressed Australian macadamia oil deeply nourish, so your skin is conditioned and protected.

I say:

I’m used to thicker night creams, so I was surprised when this had a thinner, but still creamy consistency. It contains hyaluaronic acid which is amazing for attracting and retaining moisture in your skin, and is an ingredient I tend to go for in moisturisers. It absorbs quite quickly for a night cream, and left my skin so nice & soft! l’ve been using it over the face oil and they are the perfect combo for night time.

Price: $29.95 for 50ml.

Rosehip, Calendula, Chamomile Face Oil

People For Plants says:

Designed to support cell health this face oil with wild harvested rosehips, tested to have no less that 80% essential fatty acids is enriched with powerful anti-oxidants from rosemary. Actives such as carotene from calendula and bisabolol from chamomile are extracted and concentrated with an innovative super-critical process at low temperatures to preserve the potency of the whole herb. Fine lines and wrinkles will appear diminished, your skin revitalised, energised looking firmer and more youthful.

I say:

You guys know I love rose hip oil right?! If not… I love rosehip oil! It’s such an amazing ingredient for moisturising the skin & also improving skin tone! Oils and serums generally pack more punch than moisturisers can, and I highly recommend you try one if you don’t already use one! This particular one sinks into the skin quite quickly, and leaves my skin moisturised all night long. I’m already nearly half way through my bottle and I don’t want it to run out.

Price: $29.95 for 20ml.

Aloe, Grapefruit, Garnet Face Scrub

People For Plants says:

Gently polish away impurities and dead skin cells revealing soft, smooth and energised, healthy looking, vibrant skin.

What I say:

I was pleasantly surprised with this scrub. In the past I’ve tried facial scrubs that were super gritty, and frankly rubbing hard little balls on your face just isn’t good for your skin. This scrub however has super small particles that you can barely feel. It also contains Citric Acid, so you get a bit of chemical exfoliation as well as a bit of physical exfoliation. It foams up nicely and left my skin nice and soft.

Price: $24.95 for 75ml.

Overall I seriously love all of these products! I love using skincare that is natural, but  still works, and People for Plants ticks all those boxes. It is also unscented, so is perfect for sensitive skin as well. It is more on the pricey side of the “drugstore”, but you really do get what you pay for in terms of ingredients and packaging! I’ve also been using their mist toner for months and months and I love that too. I will definitely be repurchasing these in the future.

People For Plants can be purchased from their website, and in store at Priceline and select chemists.
