Can you believe it’s nearly Christmas?! I’m more excited than usual this year, and thought it would be fun to do a festive makeup collab for you guys!
Today’s post is a collaboration with the gorgeous Maria from Cat Eyes Red Lips! We both love Christmas and thought it would be fun to do a Christmas party makeup look each to share with you guys! I’m sure you all have lot’s of Christmas parties to attend, but if you don’t you can wear this look any time! On Christmas day, or just if you want to dress up & look fab 😉
Make sure you pop over to my talented friend’s blog too to check out her amazing look!
From top L to bottom R: Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette, Victoria’s Secret brightening gel cream (primer), Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip brow pomade in Medium brown, Bobbi Brown corrector in Light bisque, NARS blush in Deep throat, Benefit They’re real! mascara, Lime Crime Red velvet velvetine, Too Faced Milk chocolate soleil bronzer, The Balm Mary Lou-manizer, MUFE HD foundation, MAC painterly paint pot, Benefit gimme brow in light/medium. I also used Benefit Stay don’t stray in light/medium, MAC studio finish concealer, IT Cosmetics bye bye under eye, MAC Prep & Prime highlighter in Radiant rose, Ben Nye Cameo luxury powder, MAC Emphasize sculpting powder, Skindinavia bridal makeup setting spray, Hurraw lip balm in Vanilla bean, LORAC Behind the scenes eye primer, NYX jumbo eye pencil in Milk, Covergirl clump crusher waterproof, NYX Slide on eyeliner in Jet black, NP Set liquid eyeliner (not pictured).
To get this look I first applied foundation, concealer and powder from the lids, up to the brow bone. I then applied tape to create a sharp edge and applied my primer and base (yes if you’re wondering all these steps are necessary to prevent creasing on me 😉 ). I then applied salted caramel and milk chocolate to the crease and outer corners and blended. I then added creme brulee to the lid and blended the edges. Next I deepened the outer corner with triple fudge (mm is it just me or are these names delicious?). I highlighted under my brows with white chocolate and inner corners with Inglot pearl #395 over NYX jumbo pencil in Milk (as always). Next I applied liquid eyeliner to my top lashline before removing the tape. I then smudged milk chocolate and salted caramel into my lower lashline and applied black eyeliner to my waterline and tightline. To finish the look I applied mascara to my upper and lower lashes.
I actually wore this look out to my work Christmas party a couple of weeks ago paired with a red dress and everyone loved it! I must say I love rocking gold & red around Christmas! :).
What do you think of this look? Would you try it?
