I just couldn’t go a week without giving you guys a makeup look! :p Also what do you think of the name of this post? Yay or nay? I thought it would be fun to try and give my looks cute names.
From Top L to bottom R: Hourglass Ambient lighting blush palette (shade Incandescent Electra), MAC Matchmaster foundation, Benefit They’re real! mascara, Benefit Gimme brow in medium/dark, MAC Pro longwear concealer, The Balm Mary Lou-manizer, Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip brow pomade in Medium brown, Makeup Geek eyeshadows in Shimma shimma, Latte, Creme brulee & Cosmopolitan, Revlon lacquer balm in Demure. I also used Victoria’s Secret Brightening gel cream (primer), Smashbox Photo Finish hydrating under eye primer, Bobbi Brown corrector in Light bisque, MAC studio finish concealer, MAC Prep & Prime highlighter in Radiant rose, Ben Nye Cameo luxury powder, BareMinerals Well rested, Skindinavia bridal makeup setting spray, Hurraw lip balm in Vanilla bean, LORAC Behind the scenes eye primer, MAC Painterly paint pot, NYX jumbo eye pencil in Milk, Covergirl clump crusher waterproof, Too Faced Milk chocolate soleil bronzer, Rimmel Scandaleyes in Nude, NYX Slide on eyeliner in Jet black (not pictured).
After applying primer & a base I blended a mix of Latte and Creme brulee through the crease and outer corners. I then applied Cosmopolitan to the lid & blended the edges. Next I blended Latte & Creme brulee into the lower lashline & highlighted the browbone & inner corners with Shimma shimma. I then applied black eyeliner to my tightline & nude eyeliner to the waterline. This method gives the illusion of fuller top lashes without making the eye appear smaller. To finish off I applied mascara to my top & bottom lashes & that’s it! Yes if you’re wondering I was too lazy/short on time to apply liquid eyeliner to the top lashline, but you could definitely do that to this look if you like!
I am obsessed with this colour, even though this is the first time I’ve used it. Makeup Geek describes it as a “rose gold” but personally I think it’s more of a warm bronze with a coral undertone. It will make all eye colours look amazing, but blue & green eyes especially will really pop!
If you guys are interested in a series of which shades suit different eye colours best then let me know & I can do that for you 🙂
Also, I got my hair done again! You can’t really tell but it has a red undertone which I love! And it will get a bit lighter after I wash it a few times.
What do you think of this look? Would you like a winter look next for all you Northern Hemisphere beauties?
