It’s Wednesday which means I have another makeup look for you!
This week I’m showing you how to create a light bronze smokey eye look that I wore out to my friends Hens night on Saturday night.
From left top to bottom right: MUFE HD foundation, Benefit They’re real! mascara, Inglot eyeshadows in 154 from the Nobel collection, pearl 395, matte 378, Makeup Geek eyeshadows in Latte, Creme brulee, Mocha, MAC painterly paint pot, LORAC behind the scenes eye primer, NP Set liquid eyeliner, NYX slide on eyeliner in jet black, Rimmel Scandaleyes in nude, Anastasia Beverly Hills brow wiz in Medium ash, The Balm Mary Lou-manizer, NARS Deep throat blush, MAC lipstick in Creme cup, NARS lipgloss in Turkish delight. I also used Victoria’s Secret brightening gel cream as a primer, Ben Nye Cameo luxury powder, Maybelline Dream lumi touch in radiant, IT Cosmetics bye bye under eye, MAC studio finish concealer, Model in a Bottle sensitive setting spray, Covergirl clump crusher waterproof & Hurraw lip balm (not pictured).
Yes I did curl my hair for the occasion! I still have slight curls left now and it is Tuesday as I write this so I’m quite pleased! And yes my hair is a bit darker :p! I’m a bit sick of light hair & want to go as close to my natural colour as possible.
Unfortunately the lid shade didn’t show up as gorgeous as it is in person as I took my photos in artificial lighting as it was dark outside, so the colours are washed out 😦
To get this look I first applied foundation & concealer to my eyelids and up to the brow, before setting with translucent powder. I then applied my primer & paint pot as a base. I then applied tape to create a sharp edge, lining it up from the outer corner of my lower lashline to the end of my eyebrows. Next I applied Makeup Geek Creme brulee & latte to my crease and blended, before adding Inglot 154 to the lid and blended the edges to soften them. Next I applied Makeup Geek Mocha to my outer corners & blended before applying Inglot matte 378 & blending to darken the outer corner more. I then applied liquid eyeliner to the top lashline & winged it out, before removing the tape. I applied Makeup Geek Creme brulee & latte to the lower lashline, and highlighted the browbone and inner corners with Inglot pearl 395. To finish off I applied black eyeliner to my tightline & nude eyeliner to my waterline and coated my top & bottom lashes with back mascara.
What do you think of this look? Would you try it?
