Hello my loves!
Long time no talk! I’m so sorry I’ve been neglecting my blog recently 😦 I’ve been trying to go self hosted, but it was a lot of hassle & I didn’t have time to set it up with so much going on, so I will hopefully be figuring it out in September! If any of you guys are self hosted I’d love to hear your experience below! Also a lot has been happening in my personal life, with loads of uni work (boo!), and one of my dogs keeps attacking my other dog… so we are getting a dog behavioural specialist out to help us figure out how to help him, otherwise we won’t be able to keep him, which breaks my heart 😦
Anyway, I have been thinking I need to sort myself out & get back on a posting schedule! I was thinking of doing any kind of post on Monday, a makeup look on Wednesday & a review on Friday. Obviously these are subject to change depending on what I feel like. What do you guys think of that?
For today’s post I have a soft shimmery neutral makeup look, that is suitable for everyday wear!
From left to right: Covergirl 3 in 1 foundation, Makeup Geek eyeshadows in Frappe, Cocoa bear, Peach smoothie, Creme brulee, Shimma shimma & White lies (not pictured), Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip brow pomade in Blonde, Makeup Geek pigment in Afterglow, Benefit They’re real mascara, Tanya Burr Cosmetics lipgloss in Picnic in the park, Benefit High beam (mixed into foundation for added glow), The Balm Mary lou-manizer, NARS Deep throat blush, Revlon Lip butter in Pink lemonade, NP Set liquid eyeliner. I also used Makeup Forever HD Primer, Revlon Colorstay powder, IT Cosmetics bye bye under eye concealer, Maybelline Dream lumi touch in Radiant, MAC studio finish concealer, Benefit Hoola, Model in a bottle setting spray, & MAC painterly paint pot (not pictured).
For the eyes I first applied MAC painterly paint pot as a base & then blended Makeup Geek Creme brulee, Peach smoothie & Frappe into the crease. I deepened the outer v with Cocoa bear, and applied Afterglow to the lid. I then highlighted the browbone with White lies & applied Shimma shimma on the inner corners. To finish I blended Creme Brulee & Frappe into the lower lashline, applied NP Set liquid eyeliner to the top lashline & applied mascara.
This look is actually from a month ago :p and I think it’s very appropriate for all you lovelies enjoying the warmth in the Northern hemisphere!
What do you think of this look?
